Fortnite - Frigid Fortress

Frigid Fortress was a second POI I helped bring over the finish line for Season 2. The focus was on pushing a strong icy, fortress-like identity while keeping it readable and performant within the wider map. I was responsible for the majority of textures used throughout the architectural set, as well as the pillar modeling, sculpting, and bakes.
It was great working alongside Technical Artist Ben Close to dial in the tech and materials needed to sell the snowy ice castle. I also revisited some Substance graphs from my first season on Fortnite and pushed them further, improving both quality and flexibility for this environment.

Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 was a huge collaborative effort across many departments. The results would not be possible without the contributions of many. Some assets featured are from a shared library created by other artists at Epic.
